NTR (｡●́‿●̀｡) but if I were Haibara I'd at least tell him how I feel at some point, if only to get closure, because I've always felt like she has some kind of crush on Kudou but won't say it because she already knows what the answer would be, plus she still has the mentality of trying to distance herself from everyone whenever it looks like she might be caught. I just hope she learns to depend on him more and eventually gets a happy ending, possibly with someone else (✿◠‿◠) Maybe in a decade or so when Mitsuhiko's all grown up she'll give him a chance lol

i think i've got this one figured out, it's a timeline and appearance trick.

the loli was never in the tea-house, that was the office lady the whole time. the meeting was never at the tea-house it was at the bathroom. the meeting was set over a half-hour before the office lady dressed as the loli shows up. the office lady killed the loli in the bathroom FIRST, took the loli outfit accessories makeup etc. and put them on leaving her 'office attire' behind in the stall with the body. probably in a shopping bag in the corpses' lap. she unlocked and locked the stall using the bucket and mop-handle trick Kogoro mentioned. then dressed as the loli the office lady goes to the tea-house and touches the key piece of evidence, the water glass. the office lady wears glasses and probably forgot to carry them or she doesn't wear contact lenses. that's why the loli/office lady couldn't see the clock and asked for the time from the waitress. then the office lady dressed as the loli goes back to the bathroom, changes into her office attire, removes her makeup, replaces the clothing and accessories on the corpse, leaves the toilet stall locked and returns to the tea-house as the office lady. once at the tea-house the office lady LUCKILY remembers she touched the water glass (dressed as the loli) that's still there and immediately breaks it! thereby getting a new glass of water that has ONLY been touched by the office lady according to the staff.

the problem with this hypothesis is, the walk back and forth to the tea-house in-between. i bet there's a short-cut by walking a straight-ish line in-between the tea-house and the bathroom. the taxi and the bus route are both wide long and rectangular along the roads. yet if you look at the map graphic shown on screen there's obviously a straight line 'overland' route between the two locations.

but this problem could be bypassed by the fact that the loli/office lady never mentioned the time of the meeting to the waitress in the first place. the office lady only mentions she was 10 minutes late when she showed up as herself.

motive? jealousy. office lady was really in love with the dork who hit on her best friend the loli. in her 'street appearance' the loli is a gorgeous babe. whereas the office lady looks normal to plain. office lady has probably been jealous of her buddy the loli for years now and this might not be the first time the two have had 'man problems' because of how hot the loli is.

Ran's outfit? heh. i'm guessing it is something Shinichi is going to LOVE! and Kogoro is going to HATE! :>
